Our Team

Ron has worked in the oil and gas industry for over 45 years.  He graduated from Texas A&M University in 1974 with a degree in Geophysics. Ron held numerous technical and senior management positions with major and independent oil and gas companies while working on domestic and international projects. Since 1990 his primary focus has been conventional exploration and production projects in Texas and Louisiana coastal areas.  Ron has been involved in the formation of a number of private exploration companies which discovered and developed oil and gas reserves and were ultimately monetized through divestiture to larger private and public E&P companies.

Allan Bloxsom is the President of Fort Apache Energy, Inc., an independent oil and gas exploration and production company.  Fort Apache Energy, Inc. operates in the upper Gulf Coast of Texas and South Louisiana.  Previously he started and was part owner of Discover Drilling of Texas and Streamline Production Systems.  Allan has over 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.  Over the last 8 years, Allan has led a 3 phase exploration program in southeast Texas which resulted in drilling of 31 exploration wells with a 75% success ratio.

Steve graduated from Texas Tech University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1972, and an MBA from the University of Houston. Since then, he has worked for major and independent companies in various engineering technical and management positions.  Most recently, Steve was a Founder, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Talos Energy (NYSE:TALO).  Prior to Talos Energy, Steve was the President and Chief Executive Officer and a founder of Phoenix Exploration Company LP, an exploration and production company operating in the US Gulf Coast and offshore waters backed by a $250MM private equity commitment.  Phoenix was sold to Apache Corp in 2011 leading to a $600MM private equity commitment and the foundation of Talos Energy. Talos was taken public in 2017.  Prior to Phoenix, he was a founder and V.P. Operations of Gryphon Exploration a Gulf of Mexico pure exploration play backed by private equity which was ultimately sold to Woodside USA in 2006.

George Hite is the President of Hite & Associates, Inc., a petroleum engineering consulting firm located in Houston, Texas. The firm specializes in reserve studies, economic analysis of investment opportunities, fair market value determinations and mineral management for large landowners.   A graduate from Texas Tech University in 1964 with a B.S. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, he is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and the Society of Petroleum Evaluations Engineers.  George has been with Exxon, Anadarko, McCormick, and Lee, Hite & Wisda where George reviewed over 3,000 prospects for investment for St. Paul Oil and Gas, a division of St. Paul Insurance.
